Who we are
Stratagenix operates a portfolio of domain names and this website. We are the controller of the personal information described below.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and — where you choose to give them — your company, telephone number, postal address, and the content of your message. We also record the domain you enquired about, the time of submission, and a one-way hash of your IP address used solely to detect abuse.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to negotiate a possible transaction. Our lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the UK and EU GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract. We do not use enquiry data for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Who processes it on our behalf
Our email is delivered by Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) and our anti-spam verification is provided by Cloudflare. Both act as processors under contract. Where information is transferred outside the UK or EEA, it is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a transaction results — in which case the records become part of our business records and are kept for as long as tax and commercial law requires.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority.
